9j USS NC, Nick in commander's chair..

This was the main commander's room on the ship, and Nick is sitting in the commander's chair. The size and scale of the spaces on the old battleship make you appreciate the conditions they had to work and fight in; it's small, and you need to duck your head in lots of places or bang.
The USS NC was the first of ten "fast" battleships built after Pearl Harbor...
